More Courage Indicated
There are a lot of what if’s to distract me from what is these days which is why I’ve been upping my dose of everything good for me. That’s the action I get to take to overcome all the fear about what might be in the future.
I’ve been told that action despite fear is courage. And that courage to keep going and to do what’s good for me, to get whatever help and support I need to do that, it gets stronger the more I use it. It gets easier, it’s gotten easier, to stay in alignment with my healthier, happier, higher self. To focus on what is rather than what if’s.
These days it’s taking more diligence with proper sleep, food, exercise, routine, positive friendship, connection, service. I’ve been so committed to counter-act the forces of negativity and fear I’ve even returned to daily meditation.
I told a bunch of people I needed help getting into a routine and for a couple of weeks now one or two folks have been showing up for silent sitting together online. What a difference having a buddy makes.
I can tell the silent sitting is helping me stay focused on what I can do now to prevent what I’m scared might happen later. I’m more effective and energized. It’s obvious that my mood is generally better and I’m better able to roll with what is after getting back into it for just a few days. I’m gonna keep going.
