Can You Feel It?

Feeling it everywhere these days and so many reasons that aren’t in the DSM.  Full moons, big eclipses, big natural cycles, big lessons, and then little ole me swimming around, sometimes against tide, sometimes allowing myself to be carried, for a bit, floating, drifting, and then returning to shore.

I always return to shore.  I check in with the shore while I relish the easy drift, bobbing, looking at the sun and the moon and seeing how close they are if I just let go completely.

But I don’t let go.  I’m here for something.  Something I don’t know what.  Can you relate?  Do you feel it? Feel the cycles getting stronger, faster, more compelling?  I do.

So I up my practices that keep me tethered, my writing, my meetings, my nutrition, my nourishing relationships, my trusted advisors and friends, my routines.

And I honor that wild woman too, that one who needs to move and breathe and commune with the moon and the stars and float and be carried, not forever but not for never.  I get creative about how to let go and come back, let go and come back.

I consult elders, I consult teachers, I listen to the moon and the sun and the ocean and the trees and the earth and the rocks. I’m gonna keep going, and returning,  flying and grounding. It’s safe to be me, with you, together.
